Governing Board of Directors
The Governing Board is the independent board of a public charter school that is party to the charter contract with the authorizer. Board members are representatives who act on behalf of VSAS stakeholders including students, founders, faculty, staff, the community, the government and taxpayers. The Governing Board has the principal responsibility for the fulfillment of the VSAS mission, sound fiscal directives and operations and legal accountability and oversight.
